♥️At our 2025 AGM, Jan Langford was bestowed Life membership of the Hawera Bridge Club.
♥️Jan has been a member for over 50 years and has served terms as President and Secretary with 11 years continuous service on the committee.
♥️She has been a long term sponsor of the Langford pairs and is still volunteering for the club as the organiser of our dealing team.
♥️Thank you Jan for your many years of service!

♦️♦️♦️Stellar results for several of our members this year at NZ Congress and the Regional Champs♦️♦️♦️
♦️Sarah was part of the Central Districts women’s team again this year
♦️Martin was part of the Intermediate team. Central Districts were joint winners with Wellington in the overall combined competition, (Dougall McLean Trophy), and the Intermediate team won their division. Both results were a first for CD.
♦️Sarah was part of the team who finished third in the Congress Senior teams.
♦️Justine and Martin finished second in the NZ Restricted Pairs and third in the NZ Restricted Swiss Pairs.
♦️Diane Waite was part of the second placed team.
♦️Glenice and Helen were part of the third-place team in the NZ Intermediate teams.

♥️Nationwide they were the top non-open pair and second in Central Districts!
