Fresh from the farm and rolling into our shops, spring greens are arriving at Hōhepa Hawke’s Bay! 🌱 We’ve got plentiful biodynamic and organic spinach, Chinese cabbage, red and green lettuces, and herbs in store at Clive and Taradale now.

Grown with care for the soil, our produce provides fresh, nutritious food for the people we support and our wider Hawke’s Bay community.

Pop in and take home a little of this season’s goodness.

Last night, Napier came alive in a very special way for Nuit Blanche. Despite the rain, our community came out to walk the streets, experience art, support local people and businesses, and share in the creativity that makes, in events like this, our city such a vibrant place to belong.

At Hōhepa Hawkes Bay, we believe beauty, creativity and connection matter. They nourish wellbeing, strengthen community and belonging.

Nuit Blanche brought light in the rain, creativity in our streets, and people together to celebrate what makes our Hawke’s Bay community so special. We loved being there.

Hats off to Stephen! 🎩 A huge congratulations to Stephen, winner of the 20–64 years category in the inaugural Great Blossom Hat Competition at the Hastings Blossom Festival! Stephen’s beautiful creation, “Whakapapa – The Tree of Life,” brought to life this year’s theme, Great Things Grow Here — celebrating connection, creativity and the stories that grow through generations. We are so proud to see Stephen’s creativity recognised and celebrated out in our wider Hawke’s Bay community.

Greta, Nicola, Tania and the team at Hōhepa Creative Works in Napier have been busy at work; making, finishing and carefully wrapping our beautiful candles. Each candle carries a little of the people, purpose and community behind it. There is something so special in the rhythm of this work, which requires skill, patience, creativity and care.

Join us at Hōhepa Hawkes Bay on Saturday 17 October 2026 for our Whiringa-ā-nuku Spring market in an afternoon of community, creativity and connection.

Our market will feature a beautiful range of handcrafted and sustainable Hōhepa products, including candles, weaving, woodwork, crafts, art and our delicious organic Hōhepa cheeses.

There’ll also be multicultural food, live music, activities, face painting, tractor rides and plenty for the whole whānau to enjoy.

A great day connecting with the team at Air New Zealand!
We were warmly welcomed to the Air NZ HUB and had the opportunity to spend time with leaders from across the organisation. There was plenty to take away from the conversations, particularly around inclusion, accessibility, innovation, IT & cybersecurity and how organisations can create safe environments where everyone has the opportunity to contribute and belong.

Ngā mihi nui to the Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce for facilitating this opportunity for Hōhepa and to the Air New Zealand team for hosting us and for such a thoughtful and engaging day. We look forward to continuing the connection.

This week we loved welcoming the team from PAK’nSAVE Tamatea to Hōhepa Hawke’s Bay.

PAK’nSAVE Tamatea has a proud history of giving back locally and supporting initiatives that strengthen our community. That commitment to social impact, sustainability and supporting local sits beautifully alongside our own vision of Every Life Fully Lived.

The team spent time meeting our people and learning more about our work at Hōhepa before rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in on the farm, planting native trees grown right here in our Hōhepa Native Plant Nursery. It was a wonderful way to connect social and environmental impact: local people, local organisations and locally grown natives coming together to leave something positive for the future.

And of course, no visit to Hōhepa would be complete without finishing with a tasting of some delicious Hōhepa cheese! 🧀
