Hōhepa Hawkes Bay We’re a not for profit organisation supporting people with intellectual disability to live full lives

Hōhepa is not-for-profit organisation, supporting people with intellectual disability to live “every life fully lived”. We do this by creating safe places to live, strong bonds to grow and work opportunities for people to achieve their full potential. We have a retail shop onsite in Clive and have recently opened a shop and community hub in Taradale. Our shops allow us to share our story through t

he produce we grow and products we make - by the people we support. We sell our freshly pasteurised biodynamic milk in returnable glass bottles, award-winning organic cheese and yoghurt, fresh produce, artisan beeswax candles, woodwork, weavery and other crafts we produce. Our Clive site is also the home of our farm and cheesery, woodwork and craft workshops, and administration office. Hōhepa Creative Works is a space where we create our weavery and candle products, and here we sell our beautiful candles, weavery and woodwork products. You will also find Hōhepa at the wonderful Black Barn Growers’ Market on Saturdays in the summer, and the Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ Market in Hastings every Sunday. Hours of opening:
Hōhepa Clive and Taradale - Monday to Friday 9am - 4.30pm
Hōhepa Creative Works – Monday to Friday 10am - 2pm (seasonal)

We would love you to pop by and say hi!

We are extremely grateful to the Marineland Hot Rods Custom Club for their very generous donation of $8,000 towards the upgrade of our milking shed. This support means a great deal to us and will make a real difference to our farm work.
We also had the joy of welcoming their most beautiful hot rods to Hōhepa Clive. It was a privilege to share our story, our work, and our community with the club members.
Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited, listened, connected, and contributed.

Made by Paul, now at home. 🐾

One of Paul Stalker’s charming stone cat carvings has found its place in a customer's garden after being purchased from our Clive store.

As a stone carver at Hōhepa Hawke's Bay, Paul creates pieces full of character and craftsmanship.

Thank you for sharing this lovely photo. 💙
