At Dairy Women’s Network, we are continually evolving to ensure we are meeting the changing needs of our members and communities.
As part of this process, we have made the decision to reduce the number of hubs across the country to four. As a result, the LNI Hub Leader role will be placed on hold for the time being.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Angela Strawbridge for everything she has contributed to DWN during her time as both a Regional Leader and Hub Leader.

Ange, your passion for the dairy industry is endless, and you have generously shared that passion with the women you have worked alongside. Your enthusiasm, commitment and willingness to support others have made a real difference, helping to build connections and inspire women across our network.

Thank you, Ange, for the time, energy and heart you have given to DWN. We are incredibly grateful for your contribution.

We’re excited to introduce Stacey Wood , who brings a genuine passion for the dairy industry, a love of connecting with people and plenty of enthusiasm to her Regional Leader role.

Growing up on a dairy farm has given Stacey a strong connection to rural communities, and she’s looking forward to creating opportunities for women in her region to connect, learn and support one another.

Here’s a little more about Stacey…

Hi! I’m Stacey, and I grew up on a dairy farm in South Wairarapa. Although I’m no longer milking cows, my passion for the dairy industry and the people who work in it is as strong as ever.

I love meeting new people, keeping active and being outdoors. As a Regional Leader, I’m looking forward to growing my network, building my leadership skills and helping bring people in our local dairy community together.

We’d like to take a moment to recognise and thank Shayla for the time, energy and passion she has given to Dairy Women’s Network as a Regional Leader.

Shayla is our local DairyNZ Area Manager and has been a valued volunteer with DWN, bringing her passion for connection, integrity and a good challenge to everything she does.

She loves working alongside farmers, helping them achieve their goals and celebrating the wins — big and small. That same enthusiasm and commitment has been such an important part of her contribution to our DWN community.

Shayla, thank you for giving your time, knowledge and energy so generously. We’ve loved having you as part of our Regional Leader team and truly appreciate everything you’ve contributed to DWN and the women in your region.

We wish you all the very best for what comes next. 💗

This week is Women’s Health Week, 10–16 August, it’s a reminder to pause, check in with yourself and make time for the health checks and conversations that are easy to put off.

Making your health a priority is not selfish. It matters.
