Probus-Hillcrest

Probus-Hillcrest Hillcrest's Probus group meets at the Hamilton Bridge Club, Richmond Street, each first Thursday, 9.45am ... New members welcomed.

We encourage people over 65years to join Probus. We are actively seeking new members and you will receive a warm welcome. Our Probus group has different guest speakers each month and activities including dining out group, craft group, mahjong group, weekly walking group, organized bus trips, and more...

Who are our Members? They are men and women from all over the Waikato. "I'm not free on Thursd

ay morning. It's Probus!" If that's a puzzling statement to you it's time you caught up with what Probus is, because Probus clubs are growing at a phenomenal rate worldwide and in Australia and New Zealand alone the membership is over 130,000 and growing fast. The name Probus is a combination of PRO for professional, and BUS for business, and many of the members are former professional or business people who are 'active retirees'. I hadn't seen that word 'retirees' until I was shown a Probus brochure. In the Probus context it includes retired or semi-retired people. We meet February to November, 9.45am on the first Thursday of each month at the Hamilton Bridge Club, Richmond Street, Hamilton.
