And that's a wrap!

We've held our final meetings, wrapped up our offerings, and will soon be closing the doors to our community hubs for the year. A massive thank you to everyone who has been part of our community - it’s been a truly memorable year, and a powerful reminder of what's possible when we come together to lift each other up 💫

There's no better way to close out a year than with a little gratitude. Today, we wanted to share our appreciation for the team at , who we’ve been lucky to partner with this year. Thank you to Ignacio and his team for championing our mahi, and enabling us to travel around the region to deliver our offerings.

Much love, wishing you all a joyful festive season! 🎉

🎄 Holiday hours update 🎄

The festive season is here, and our team is looking forward to taking a break this summer for some time with our friends and whānau.

On that note, we'll be going into OOO and offline mode from December 21 - January 11 🙏

Our community hubs in Tokoroa and Hamilton will be closed during this time too (of course, if you're a permanent resident or tenant, you'll still be able to access and work from your hub during this time).

Otherwise, we look forward to coming back together in the New Year! Until then, festive wishes from our family to yours - we hope your holidays are filled with warmth and joy 🌟

Reading feedback from the wāhine who participated in our Female Founders Forum may well be our favourite way to spend the day!!

We also want to take the opportunity now to acknowledge Raglan Food Co, who helped make this programme possible 💖 Thank you so much to their team for backing this programme, and helping us create this impact for women in Raglan and across the Waikato region.

Can we take a moment to appreciate the powerhouse that is Lisa Shaw?

Lisa is the co-founder of , has been creating impact for 25+ years as an advisor to Boards and CEOs, and is a resilient entrepreneur who has scaled startups and been part of multi-million-dollar turnarounds 👏🏻

She's pictured here listening intently to the speakers at our Community Showcase event ... and just a few days later, she was working her magic at our monthly personal development session for our Female Founders Forum. Here she facilitated SUCH a powerful masterclass on all things finances - and the lessons we walked away with (from raising capital to grants, impact investing, and crowdfunding) were next level! 💫

Thank you, Lisa, for sharing a little bit of your time, wisdom, and enthusiasm with us!!

We've been reading over some of the comments coming in from the wāhine who participated in the Female Founders Forum (our 7-month personal development programme for female changemakers) and we've got all the warm fuzzies 🥺🥺🥺

You'll notice there's mention of customer service in the third slide ... and with that, we wanted to take a moment to acknowledge Kerry from , who kindly facilitated a session for Forum participants exploring all things customer service and customer-centric mindset.

This session was the second of the programme and played a pivotal role in laying the foundation for deeper connections and valuable learnings throughout.

Thank you, Kerry - for not only sharing your time, energy, and expertise during this session, but also for creating lasting impact for wāhine across the Waikato ♥️

Ceres Organics make the MOST delicious organic, planet-friendly and sustainable food products ... and what a treat it was being able to share some of their goodies with the our Female Founders Forum participants 💖

A huge thank you to Paul and his team at Ceres Organics for supplying each wāhine in this programme with a bag filled with their products to help them celebrate their time in the programme ... and it's safe to say these proved VERY popular.

Thank you, Ceres Organics, for your support and for nourishing our community in such a meaningful way.

Check out their website to have a look at their incredible product range 😋

Before 2024 comes to a close, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks to Snap Rentals, who have been powering much of our mahi this year 🙏

Thanks to Snap Rentals, we've been able to get around the region - delivering our programmes, events, and workshops, and empowering changemakers through our work - all with the support of their electric car rentals.

A huge thank you to Ignacio and his team for believing in our mission and so generously supporting us ✨

If you're in need of a car rental, we can’t recommend them highly enough!

Let's hear it for YWCA of Hamilton! 😍

We've had the privilege of collaborating with Riikka and the incredible team at the YWCA on a few occasions over the past few years ... including an event in honour of International Women's Day (pictured here). More recently, they were SO kind to sponsor the final session of the Female Founders Forum - enabling over 20 local female changemakers to come together for a masterclass session to connect, grow, and build their networks 💫

The YWCA do some amazing work locally empowering young women (we're talking retreats, podcasts, local events and classes) ... honestly, what they do creating space for women to connect and grow is beyond incredible, we are constantly in awe of them and the impact they are creating.

It has been such an honour to team up with an organisation that’s passionate about lifting others ... thank you, YWCA, for everything you do, and the difference you make everyday ❣️

That's a wrap on the 2024 Female Founders Forum 🥺

We've had the absolute privilege of guiding 8 PHENOMENAL local wāhine through a personal and professional development programme designed to help female founders and changemakers connect, learn, and grow their impact.

Every month, we've come together as a cohort to explore topics like values-led leadership, digital marketing, and finances - and it has been so heartwarming to see these women grow individually and collectively through these sessions ❣️

Last week, with support from YWCA of Hamilton, we hosted our final session - coming together one final time this year to explore how to deepen our collaborations, impact, and influence.

This session was facilitated by Daz from , and was open to female leaders from across the region ... and what a beautiful celebration it was, reminding us of what's possible when women come together to support, uplift, and champion each other 🤩

As the year starts to wind down, we want to take some time to acknowledge, honour, and show our appreciation for all those who have contributed to our mahi in some way this year ❣️

And because her work is just SO beautiful, we can't help but start by acknowledging Natalie Peden and her team at Amy's Flowers. Natalie - who has been part of our current Female Founders Forum cohort - created these stunning table arrangements and bouquets. They are absolutely stunning, and we've been so thrilled to display them at our events and use them as thank-you gifts for speakers 💐

Thank you, Amy's Flowers for sharing your talents with us, these arrangements were nothing short of perfection.

P.S. if you're still on the look-out for Christmas gift, have a peek at their website - we have a feeling you'll find something special!
