For SAAM, we asked some of our friends - - to share some of the insight they've had when looking back at their own journeys. While hindsight can be beautiful, it's also important to remember to be gentle with yourself. Often the decisions we make are from a place of survival rather than logic.

An affirmation that has been helpful for some of the people we work with: "I forgive myself for the decisions I made when I was in survival mode".

Our friends at Hohou te Rongo Kahukura - Outing Violence have Club Kahukura starting on February 3rd. This is a safe, welcoming space for people who are exploring their sexuality and gender. All of the big topics will be covered over 7 weeks, and it's free!!

Is your new years resolution to find some community? We'd love to be a part of that journey with you and other people who are doing the same :-) Join Club Kahukura for seven weeks of conversation, laughs, all the big questions of life and some tools for finding your own answers.
