It is inspiring seeing what our cadets achieve, not just within the unit, but out in the community and for themselves. Whether they are out on the water or pushing through challenges in the field (with our Army Cadets), they continue to show resilience, teamwork, and commitment.

Times are tough for many right now and supporting our youth has never been more important. One way to support them is by purchasing one of our challenge coins.

They are unique, meaningful, and directly supporting what our cadets do. Once they are gone, they are gone, so don’t miss out.

Teamwork isn’t just something we talk about, it’s how we operate. On the water and on land, we learn that when one person rows, we all move. When one person leads, we all support. When one person struggles, we all step in.

It takes real Courage to walk into a room full of strangers and step outside your comfort zone. These young people who came along to our recruit evening showed exactly that, Comradeship, Commitment and integrity from the moment they arrived.

We build strength, discipline, and teamwork on land, while also getting the opportunity to get out on the water, learning to sail, and challenge ourselves in new ways.

The new recruits may have been nervous, but they showed up. And that first step is always the hardest and the most important.

If you are sitting on the fence, wondering “what if”… come along and give it a try. You don’t want to look back with regrets, you want to look back knowing you had the courage to begin.

We’re proud of every single one of you who took that step tonight, ka pai tō mahi 👏
