Rural Support Trust National

Rural Support Trust National Rural Support Trusts have local, rural people who know from experience that pressures can mount up.

Rural Support Trust provides networks and training along with confidential support to rural people across a range of situations and ultimately, helps them to overcome challenges that are specific to the agricultural sector. The Rural Support Trust have experienced, trained facilitators who understand the pressures and challenges that come with living rurally and making a livelihood from the land.

The Rural Support Trust connects individuals and families with further and/or more specialised support for a range of circumstances such as when there’s an adverse event, like a drought or a flood. The Trust also supports the development of individual and community resilience with education and training. There are 14 regional Rural Support Trusts around the country run by local people who know from experience that severe weather, finances, relationships and work pressures can have a significant impact on wellbeing. We’re connected to a range of networks and local and central government agencies, and we can put you in touch when you need help.
