GARDEN UPDATE!

🌱 Even in the heart of winter, our Waikato Samoan Community Garden continues to thrive.

Each week our students learn more than just how to grow food—they're learning teamwork, patience, responsibility, and the importance of serving others. From planting seeds to caring for each garden bed, every lesson is helping nurture the next generation of community leaders.

As the first fruits were ready to harvest - there was no better way to celebrate than by sharing it with our Community. Seeing the smiles on our Elderly and our Aufaigaluega- it reminded us that gardening isn't just about growing food—it's about growing kindness, connection, and community.

We look forward to growing the Garden with more Garden Boxes, so we can plant and grow more Vegetables and share with more Communities! Its only the beginning!

So grateful to our dedicated students, our Tutor and Komiti who attend every week. A Heartfelt Thank You to our Funders - Health NZ - Te Whatu Ora and Department of Internal Affairs- FA'AFETAI TELE LAVA!

Here are just some photos of our Harvest and happy Community members! Viia le Atua!
