Kirikiriroa & St Peterβ Scout Group, one of Aotearoa's largest and fastest growing groups, received Royal New Zealand Navy Recognition in 2025 for the highest standards of Scouting and seamanship. Peter's Scout Group was formed as a partnership between Kirikiriroa Scout Group and Saint Peter's Sea Scout Group in February 2022 after offering Scouting to Kirikiriroa Hamilton for a total of 164 year
s between them. Saint Peterβs Sea Scout Group has served Kirikiriroa Hamilton in Aotearoa New Zealand since 1908 and is one of Aotearoa New Zealandβs oldest groups. Columba's Scout Group, has served the western suburbs of the city since 1972. We welcome members between the ages of five and 26 and all genders, ethnicities, and religions. Members meet regularly at our den at 31 Lorne Street, Kirikiriroa Hamilton. Peter's Kea Club, for school years one to three, meets Wednesdays from 5.30-6.30pm. Peter's Cub Pack, for school years four to six, meets Mondays from 6-7.30pm. Peter's Scout Troop, for school years seven to 10, meets Tuesdays from 6.30-8.30pm. In Terms 1 and 4 the Troop meets at the group boatshed on Lake Rotoroa, Inness Common, Lake Crescent, Kirikiriroa Hamilton. Peter's Venturer Unit, for school years 11 to 14, meets Wednesdays from 7-9pm. Peter's Scout Group is a member of the Scouting Association of New Zealand, also known as Scouts Aotearoa, and is one of 11 Scout groups in the Scouts New Zealand Waikato Zone.
