Great News.

Beach Haven Scout Group has been selected for the RVM machine at New World Birkenhead for October and November.

So now the real work starts please collect all your cans and bottles and get donating.

To help maximise donations, please feel free to encourage your whānau, friends, and wider community to use the RVM and select Beach Haven Scouts as their chosen recipient. It’s also worth reminding supporters that eligible containers don’t just come from what goes into curbside recycling - they can collect bottles and cans from carparks, beaches, parks, sports fields, workplaces, and anywhere else containers might otherwise go to waste or landfill – and this is where we all can make a big difference!

A huge thank you to The Lion Foundation for their generous contribution towards our Beach Haven Scouts insurance for the year.

While insurance isn't always the most exciting thing to talk about, it's one of those essential behind-the-scenes costs that keeps our adventures possible. Thanks to support like this, we can continue creating safe adventures, and memorable experiences for our young people without these important costs becoming a barrier.

We're incredibly grateful for your ongoing support of our community. 💙

On Friday night Beach Haven Scouts built and slept in bivouacs in the Coromandel Forest Park. On Saturday they hiked up to the famous Pinnacles Hut and then onwards to the summit to watch sunset from the highest point of the pinnacles at 773 metres . Some even got up at 6:30 the next day to climb back to the summit for sunrise. Back out and home Sunday
Perfect weather, great kids, fun all round, even for those doing their first ever hike.

Come and support the 2026 North Shore Scout Gang Show!

The lights are coming up at the Pumphouse Theatre, and we would love to see as many Beach Haven Scout Group members, families and supporters in the audience as possible!

Beach Haven has an incredible 15 members in the cast, including 2 of our leaders, along with numerous other leaders working tirelessly behind the scenes to make the magic happen.

This year’s show, “Game Time Live – A 90s Game Show Adventure”, takes you into a fun, high-energy world inspired by classic 90s game shows. Expect plenty of laughs, fast-paced action, music, and a bit of nostalgia as the cast brings a creative and entertaining story to life on stage. It’s a lively, feel-good production that highlights teamwork, humour and the amazing talent of Scouts and Guides.

At the end of this year, Beach Haven Scout Group is proud to be sending a contingent of 30 Scouts and 8 Leaders to the 24th National Scout Jamboree at Mystery Creek. Over the past year, our Scouts have worked hard to raise funds towards the $2,000 participation fee for each youth member through sausage sizzles, direct sales, community events, and other fundraising activities. Their commitment and effort have been outstanding.

As we prepare for this exciting experience, we are now seeking support from our wider community to help provide the official Jamboree uniform for our contingent. Each Scout will receive three Jamboree t-shirts as their Jamboree uniform: two of T-shirt "A" and one of T-shirt "B".

To help make this possible, we are inviting businesses, organisations, and individuals to become either a Gold Sponsor or Silver Sponsor of our Jamboree uniform. Sponsorship provides a wonderful opportunity to support local young people while being part of a memorable national event and having your name attached to a fantastic cause. Could this be you, or perhaps someone you know who may be interested in supporting our Scouts?

If you would like more information about our sponsorship opportunities, please email [email protected] and we will be happy to send through further details.

Thank you for your support.
