Join us in sharing a huge congratulations with the incredible women from Soroptimist International Aotearoa New Zealand.

Last week they received a Health Best Practice award from their international body, celebrating the work they have done to raise awareness of ovarian cancer in Aotearoa.

We are thrilled to have such passionate women giving their all to improve the visibility of ovarian cancer, and know how deserving they are of this recognition.

Nurses are at the forefront for K9MD's work. We could not exist without them, so we are excited to introduce you to our new nurse in Invercargill.
Nicola is a Southlander – born and bred and has worked as a Registered Nurse at Southland Hospital for 34 years, the last 24 of which have been as an Ostomy Nurse. Nicola says she is looking forward to working with the K9MD team and excited about the opportunity to be part of this groundbreaking research. She enjoys spending time with family on their 5-acre lifestyle block and with her Chocolate Labrador – Willa.
