A massive milestone and a fresh chapter. 💛🦁

Last Wednesday Hillcrest Lions gathered to celebrate two special occasions in one event. Hillcrest Lions marked our 34th Anniversary and officially installed our new leadership team for the 2026/2027 year.

We were privileged to have PDG Lion Peter Henderson join us as our Chief Guest to conduct the official ceremony, along with his wife Lion Carol also participating in the evening. Thank you both for sharing this special occasion with us.

Congratulations to our incoming Board and our President, Lion Heather Fanshawe, sitting for her second term.

We wish you all the very best for a successful, stella year serving our community. Here’s to 34 years of history and an exciting chapter ahead.

💙 Community in Action! 🦁

Members of our Hillcrest Lions Club recently visited a local Kidney Society clinic to see firsthand the incredible work they do supporting those living with kidney disease.

We were incredibly proud to see the two brand new treatment chairs our club donated in action! Patients spend between 4 to 8 hours hooked up to machines for their treatment, so providing maximum comfort during their stay is absolutely vital. It was incredibly rewarding to see our donation directly improving the patient experience.

A massive thank you to the wonderful clinic staff for their warm welcome, dedication, and inspiring compassion. Together, we can make our community stronger! 💪🏥

Fashion, Philanthropy, and Fun! 👠✨

What a fabulous time we had at our Ballentynes Fashion Parade! Our runway was glowing, but the cause behind it was even brighter. We are thrilled to announce that this fundraising project was a massive success, all thanks to our incredible community.

A huge round of applause to our brave and beautiful models, featuring our very own Hillcrest Lions members alongside some wonderful guest stars! You all rocked the latest trends with such grace and spirit.

Thank you to everyone who attended and donated. Together, we’re making a difference, one strut at a time. 🦁💙
