After 8 weeks of early mornings, physical training, guest speakers, teamwork, challenges, and personal growth, our CACTUS students will take on their final challenge — Longest Day.

From 6:00am through until 12:30pm, our students will be tested physically, mentally, and as a team as they tackle runs, carries, problem-solving challenges, Battle PT, rope challenges, a Fire Engine Pull, and much more.

This isn't about being the fastest or strongest. It's about resilience, determination, leadership, and refusing to give up when things get hard.

If you're out and about tomorrow, we'd love to see members of our community come along and support the team as they complete their final journey together.

To our students — you've already achieved so much. Tomorrow is your opportunity to show yourselves just how far you've come.

💚 One team. 💚 One mission. 💚 Finish strong.

💚 It takes a village. 💚

CACTUS is so much more than an eight-week programme. Behind every early morning, every challenge, every lesson, and every success is an incredible group of people and organisations who believe in our young people and invest in their future.

To our sponsors, supporters, volunteers, community groups, businesses, emergency services, schools, families, and everyone who has contributed along the way, thank you 🙏🏼

Your generosity, time, encouragement, resources, and belief in this programme make opportunities like CACTUS possible. Together, you help create an environment where young people can grow in confidence, build resilience, develop leadership skills, and discover what they're truly capable of.

As we head into our final CACTUS this friday, and prepare for Longest Day and Graduation on Sunday, we want to acknowledge the amazing community standing behind our students every step of the way.

We couldn't do this without you.

From all of us at CACTUS — thank you for helping shape the next generation 💚💚💚

As we head towards the end of another incredible CACTUS journey, we want to take a moment to acknowledge and thank every single guest speaker who has given their time to our rangatahi over the past eight weeks.

Our guest speakers have shared their stories, their experiences, their successes, and sometimes even their struggles. They have spoken honestly, inspired deeply, and helped our students see that there are many different paths to success.

Whether you spoke about service, leadership, sport, perseverance, health, community, overcoming adversity, or simply being a good human, your words have left a lasting impact.

To every speaker who set an early alarm, rearranged your schedule, and stood in front of our students before most people had started their day — thank you. Your willingness to invest in the next generation does not go unnoticed.

The lessons learned during CACTUS don't just happen on the training field. They happen through conversations, shared experiences, and the people our students meet along the way.

From all of us at CACTUS, thank you for helping shape, encourage, and inspire this amazing group of young people.

We are incredibly grateful for your support. 💜
