How great to see this article in the ODT this morning on the state of biking in Ōtepoti Dunedin. A new pathways strategy by the DCC will be put up for consultation, and we're thrilled that it will also create connections to our trails.👏

A great quote by Louise Efford who commutes by bike "People are finding it harder to afford vehicles. That's primarily why I use my bike. It's free, I don't have to pay for parking and I can guarantee my journey time. The weather is not always guaranteed, but you get compulsory exercise".

Join us in embracing the darkening skies and winter season with a mid-winter evening lights bike ride, followed by the warmth of a drink at a friendly pub this Wednesday (17.30pm)

We’ll meet at the Botanical gardens main gate with our lit-up bikes, and we’ll also have a few magical led light systems to lend for your bike if you’d like to really shine! From here, we’ll casually wind our way through the city streets in all our lit-up glory, before ending up at the Steamer Basin pub for a sociable drink. Open to all ages and abilities, it’s not a race, it’s a celebration of the winter season!
