⚽️Congratulations to Mt Aspiring College for taking out overall honours in our Central Otago Boys Football competition! 🏆

MAC had a convincing win 11-1 over Dunstan in their semi, with Cromwell College causing an upset by winning out over Wakatipu High School 5-3 in a penalty shootout to gain the other finals spot.

The final at halftime was 1-0 to MAC, but with plenty of home town support they pulled away from Cmll convincingly in the second half, taking it out 6-0!

Thanks to Rowan Dunnet for refereeing some of the games 🤩

⭐Sports Leaders Breakfast 2026 ⭐
A great morning bringing our school sports leaders together to hear from Ella Gomez and Will Stodart from the Otago Spirit and Otago NPC rugby teams.

Ella and Will shared their sporting & life journeys, leadership experiences, challenges they’ve faced and some great advice for our young leaders as they continue to grow both on and off the field.

A big thank you to Ella and Will for giving up their time and sharing their stories with us! We wish you the very best of luck from the remaining games of the FPC & NPC seasons 🏉🔵🟡

⚽️ Nothing beats finals excitement in football like a penalty shootout to decide the champion!! ⚽️🥅🏆

🤩 Mt Aspiring College Gold were undefeated all season and had control of the OSSSA Central Otago Girls Football final, until Wakatipu HS scored the equaliser in the second half! WHS then went on to take out the win 4-3 in the shootout. Nail biting stuff 😬😬😬

Cromwell College also came home strongly, securing the win 4-0 against Mt Aspiring Black, to take out 3rd Place.

Dunstan High School are in a building phase, so was great to see soo many new faces to the game giving it a go! Well done girls 👍

Thanks to Rowan Dunnet for refereeing many of the games, and to Chris Rhoades for stepping in for the finals. Much appreciated guys!
