Dear Friends of Aglow,
Praise the Lord! My heart is full!
It was almost overwhelming to see so many of you turn up for our meeting last Tuesday with Nawa Cooper and her precious team of four precious ladies who were so beautifully able to minister to people towards the end of the meeting. I'm sure there are some testimonies coming out of that time.
The Lord is definitely blowing the wind of His spirit on Aglow again and He's fanning the flames, for us to be fully 'AGLOW ' in the Spirit.
Did you go home with a fire in your heart?
I'll share two scriptures from the evening.
1. In the newsletter Luke 24:32 " Did not our hearts burn while He talked with us by the way, and while He opened to us the scriptures"
2. Jeremiah 20:9 "His word was in my heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding back and I could not'
Two things seem to be common to these scriptures: a) Hearts burning and b) the Word of God.
Let's fill our hearts with the Word of God, may He speak fresh words to us each day, and may we allow the Holy Spirit to keep fanning those flames so that the fire simply cannot be contained! And remember the word from Helen a few months ago about the oil of the Holy Spirit needed to keep our lamps burning brightly.
Our final meeting will be on Tuesday 7pm 25th November but at a different venue.
We were rather stretched last month as more and more chairs had to be put out!
