Grief has a way of changing everything—the way we see the world, the way we move through each day, and even the way we see ourselves. 💔

Some days, it feels like the weight of loss is too much to carry. Other days, there are small moments of light—maybe a memory that makes you smile or a little peace in the quiet.

Wherever you are in your grief today, know that it's okay. There’s no right or wrong way to walk this path. Be kind to yourself. One breath, one step, one moment at a time. 💜

⁣Grief has a way of making everything feel overwhelming. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It can feel as if the world is moving faster than ever, and you’re just trying to catch your breath. The hustle and bustle around you, the expectations, the noise—it all becomes too much. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
In these moments, it’s okay to wish for everything to pause, just so you can find a moment of peace.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
You might feel like screaming for the world to slow down, to let you process your pain, to let you simply be. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It’s normal to feel this way, to crave a quiet space where you can gather your thoughts and let your heart heal.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
When you feel this way, take a moment for yourself. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and permit yourself to feel everything. You don’t have to keep up with the world right now. Your journey is unique, and it’s okay to move at your own pace.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Remember, it’s okay to rest. It’s okay to take time for yourself. It’s okay to feel everything deeply and to honour your emotions. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Grief is not a race; it’s a journey, and it’s perfectly fine to need breaks along the way.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
You deserve that time to breathe, to find your centre, and to allow your heart to start mending. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Be gentle with yourself, and know that it’s okay to ask for the world to slow down so you can heal. 💜✨

I know it feels like healing from grief means letting go, but that’s not true. Healing isn’t about forgetting or moving on as if they never existed. It’s about finding a new way to live with their absence—a way that honors their memory and allows you to keep them close in your heart.

I understand how hard this adjustment is. It takes time—so much more time than anyone tells you. But as you navigate this painful journey, know that it’s okay to carry them with you in a new way. Their love is still a part of you, and it always will be.

Healing doesn’t mean leaving them behind; it’s about learning to live with their memory in a way that brings you peace.

It’s about finding that balance where the grief softens, and you can smile at the memories just as easily as you cry.

You’ll always feel their absence, but it won’t always consume you. You’re finding your own path forward, and that’s okay.

We can often feel anger and frustration at what life has dealt us - these are our natural responses to loss.

Believe me, I understand. But from even the deepest pain, something extraordinary can grow. Our hearts might break open, but that very vulnerability can open us up to a world of compassion and understanding.

No one remains untouched by loss, none of us are immune to life's inevitable parting. We all carry the marks of loss in our own way.

Living without a loved one feels like carrying a hole in your heart—a constant reminder of their absence. This deeply personal journey requires patience, time, and kindness toward yourself.

Though the void never fully disappears, we gradually learn to live around it, letting it shape who we become. As we acknowledge our pain, we adapt to the changes their loss has brought into our lives.

We might find comfort in nature, connecting with others who understand, or quiet reflection. Over time, our capacity to love and find meaning grows around the emptiness, honoring both our loss and the love we still hold. 💔❤️

Recently, I overheard a conversation that struck a chord with me. A lady was comforting someone deep in grief.⁣

It reminded me of when I lost my mother, and how several people told me to "be strong." Honestly, it was the last thing I wanted to hear. ⁣

In those raw moments after her loss, I DIDN'T WANT TO BE STRONG!
I wanted to crumble to the floor, sob my heart out, and scream in anguish! ⁣
I just wanted to be allowed to be the shattered person I was at that moment!
⁣I needed people to see my pain, and NOT tell me what to do to make them feel better.
TO JUST LET ME - BE ME!

To anyone who’s heard those words, I am so sorry.
I know people mean well, but they often have no idea how cutting and hurtful the words "be strong" can be to someone whose world has been turned upside down, inside out and forever changed.⁣

Know that it’s perfectly okay not to feel strong. ⁣

Let yourself grieve in the way you need to. ⁣

We’re here to support each other through every tear, every scream, and every moment of heartache.
You don’t have to be strong here.
YOU JUST HAVE TO BE YOU!

Sending love and understanding to all of you. 💜

In the heart of their grief, elephants reveal a profound truth about compassion. When one suffers, they all do. Their silent circle of support is a testament to the power of empathy and the importance of simply being present for another.

In a world that often rushes to heal, elephants teach us the grace of allowing grief its time. The way elephants stick together and care for each other when someone is sad shows us how we should treat each other.
