James Bikes 1500km for Penguins I am riding almost twice the length of the South Island on a mountain bike to raise funds that will save the lives of threatened penguins.

I'm James Higham, Distinguished Professor of Sustainable Tourism at the University of Otago. I'm passionate about biking, experiencing our wonderful country with a modest carbon footprint, and of course our native environments and species. That's why I have chosen the Wildlife Hospital Dunedin as my chosen charity for this 1,500km ride (from Queen Charlotte Sound to Milford Sound).
