Dunedin’s LoomRoom
Established in 2013, the LoomRoom is a vibrant community weaving studio offering regular classes and workshops. With the motto “real weaving for real people!”, the studio features a huge range of looms — truly something for everyone.
Weaving classes at the LoomRoom are affordable, entertaining, creative, and sometimes subversive — even life-changing. Come and view the LoomRoom in action!

Sew-On
Sew On is dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive community for people with periods, with a strong focus on sustainable menstrual care. With its heart in Dunedin, Sew On works to foster independence from period poverty by promoting choice, education, and community worldwide.
Come along and learn how to sew and make a reusable period pad yourself.

Valley Cycle Workshop
Founded by Peter McDonald, the Valley Cycle Workshop grew from a passion for providing accessible bike repair services to the community. For a small koha (donation), the Workshop offers assisted bike repair sessions so everyone can enjoy the benefits of biking, regardless of financial situation.
