370 high school students across 120 businesses are taking on the Young Enterprise Scheme this year.
For Challenge One, teams had to spot a real problem, build a business idea around it, and test that idea with real customers.
Three teams stood out:
🏆 Winter Warriors at Taieri College, with an anti-frost spray for frozen windscreens
🏆 Olivander Technology at Liger Leadership Academy, automating business admin
🏆 Hāpai Holder at Te Kura o Tititea Mount Aspiring College, an easier way to get ski and snowboard gear from the car park to the mountain
Up next: Mid-year Pitches, where teams have five minutes to pitch their business to a panel of local businesspeople.
