Connection is one of the strongest forms of resilience.

One of the clearest messages to come through our Climate Resilience Project was the importance of community connection. From BBQs and local events to chats over a cuppa, people told us these moments genuinely matter.

Coming together helps people share experiences, support one another and remember they're not facing challenges alone.

Support doesn't always have to be formal - sometimes it starts with a simple conversation or checking in on a neighbour.

Come along and support this wonderful kaupapa as we celebrate Matariki together.
Matariki is a special time of year for reflection, remembrance, connection, and looking ahead to the future with hope. It is an opportunity for whānau, friends, and our wider community to come together, share stories, celebrate our achievements, and honour those who have passed.
Dargaville High School are hosting a fantastic event, and we encourage everyone to get involved and support this meaningful celebration. Bring your whānau, enjoy the festivities, and help strengthen the connections that make our community so special.
We look forward to seeing you there and celebrating Matariki together.
Nau mai, haere mai – all are welcome. 🌿⭐
