☀️ He Anga Paneke – powering our community

Yesterday, we gathered at dawn to bless He Anga Paneke, an innovative floating solar project at the Dannevirke Wastewater Treatment Plant.

A partnership between Rangitāne o Tamaki nui-ā-Rua and Tararua District Council, He Anga Paneke features 880 floating solar panels, generating clean energy right here in Tamaki nui-ā-Rua.

Owned and operated by Rangitāne through Tū Mai Rā Energy, the kaupapa will help reduce Council’s energy costs, while profits will directly support local whānau experiencing energy hardship.

A local solution, led by locals, for the benefit of our community. 🌱☀️
