Village Green access via Marine Parade - The walkway is currently open, so please follow the pedestrian pathway from Marine Parade into the Village Green. There is also access between Southpaw Brewery and the green.

Access from Beresford Street is still available.

Shoreside Podiatry at the Village Green Te Hiato Kuaka!

A reminder that we have , with local podiatrist Aoife O’Dowd, at The Village Green in Hut 3 every Friday.

Aoife has over 10 years’ experience and provides routine foot care, treatment of foot and lower-limb pain, orthotics, and diabetic/high-risk foot care.

Clinic appointments are available at The Village Green on Fridays, with home visits also available throughout the week.

Free, every Friday, and not just in the school holidays 🧚

If you're near New Brighton on a Friday morning, this one's worth knowing about. Pop on the wings (tutus, capes and tails count too), pack a picnic and head to Village Green Te Hiato Kuaka from 10 to 11.30am. Faye the fairy does bubbles, giant games and a bit of facepainting, and it's free.

The playground is right across the road, so the kids can keep going once it wraps up. The library is great too, and Sweet Waffles is just around the corner if you need a treat after.

If Fridays don't work, they also run big game Tuesdays at 10am.
