🧵 SEAMSTRESS WANTED! 🧵

We’re looking for a local seamstress (or sewing whiz!) to partner with So Fresh and help us make sure the clothing we provide actually fits the people we support.

Standard sizing doesn’t work for everyone. Sometimes a great pair of trousers just needs a hem, a sleeve needs shortening, or a garment needs a small adjustment to make it wearable and comfortable for the person it’s going to.

For us, it’s about making sure our clients aren’t limited by the clothes available in their size. Everyone deserves the chance to have clothing that fits them properly, feels like theirs, and helps them walk into their next step with confidence.

We’re looking for someone who’d be keen to help with simple alterations as needed and become part of the So Fresh whānau. If that sounds like you (or you have someone in mind) send us a message or tag them below!

Who says doing good can’t be a little bit sweet?

Huge thanks to the legends at Sweet Ltd, everyone who donates clothing via our drop-off locations gets a little bag of custom So Fresh x Sweet lollies as our way of saying “thanks for backing the kaupapa.”

Not only did the team at Sweet create the epic design for us, they generously donated our very first batch and continue to supply them at a hugely discounted rate, helping us celebrate every single donation that comes through the door.

It’s thoughtful partnerships like this that make So Fresh feel... well, So Fresh.

From the very beginning, Kaywan and his team have shown up for So Fresh in the best way, offering their time, skill, and care to provide haircuts for the men we work alongside.

A fresh cut might seem like a small thing, but in the right moment it can help someone feel like themselves again. It’s about walking out the door feeling sharp, respected, and ready for whatever’s next.

That’s what these guys are part of, real, practical support that makes a difference.

WE’RE OFFICIALLY OPEN 🩵

Yesterday we opened our doors for the very first time, and honestly… what a moment.

CC has already stepped into her role as Chief Welcome Officer 🐶 (working hard for some pats), and we’re so proud to announce So Fresh is officially up and running!

This didn’t happen because of us alone. It happened because of you.

To every supporter, donor, referrer, funder, business, friend and cheerleader who backed this kaupapa, thank you. Truly. We could not have opened these doors without the generosity, belief and encouragement of this community.

We’re here. We’re ready. Let’s go!
