Kia ora ngā whānau o Te Puna Oranga.

Little Matters was developed by ACC with parents, caregivers, and prevention experts to help prevent child sexual abuse.

Little Matters are the everyday actions we can start practicing at home that support families and keep children safe
Things like; everyday norms, customs, and tikanga that contribute to keeping tamariki safe and secure today as well as nurturing a future free from child sexual abuse.

Little Matters assists families in taking little, achievable steps that promote connection, respect, and clarity.

Silence, shame, and damaging daily attitudes and behaviors can all contribute to sexual injury. Change can therefore begin in day-to-day living as well.
Every action could seem insignificant. However, when taken as a whole, they promote healthier connections in the future and keep children safer today.

So here's one to start you off
