Playcentre Messy Play Week: Invitation to Space Families to Visit

We’re inviting Space whānau to visit their local Playcentre!

Playcentre’s free Messy Play Week event for families with children from birth to school age is being held again this year from Monday 2 March to Friday 6 March at nearly 400 Playcentres across Aotearoa.

Messy play is essential for early childhood development and provides limitless opportunities for learning for infants and tamariki. Plus, the mess isn’t at your house, so there’s no reason not to embrace messy play at Playcentre.

Playcentre builds on what you’ve already experienced at Space or Babies Can Play - learning through play, supported by parents, surrounded by a community that understands this stage of life. You’re not just enrolling your child - you’re joining a village. From Space to Playcentre, it’s all about growing together - at your child’s pace, and at yours.

Families also gain access to Playcentre’s free adult education programme, which provides practical parenting and early learning support.
