Looking forward to getting back to the Great Hall and our Lunchtime events.
Our next Great Hall Lunchtime concert is on Monday May 4 and will feature Justine Cormack, violin, with pianist Sarah Watkins.
We are thrilled to welcome these two superb musicians to the Great Hall stage. Not only founding members of the iconic NZ Trio but also mentors to many and highly acclaimed performers on national and international stages. Justine is the current Concert Master with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra and Sarah is always seen accompanying at Concerto and International Michael Hill Competitions. They will be performing works by Lilburn, Prokofiev and Debussy.

Lumière Trio (flute, flute/piccolo, piano)
Join this sparkling trio for an exquisite lunchtime filled with lilting melodies and brilliance. Hye-Won Suh, Principal Flute with the CSO will be joined by Johanna Gruskin, Principal Piccolo, NZSO and talented Auckland pianist Jesse Oh. Listen as these instruments take flight in the warm, resonant Great Hall. An acoustic treat for lunch indeed.

Join a brilliant team of the company's incredibly talented singers, accompanied by Toi Toi Opera's Head of Music and Principal Répétiteur Jeremy Woodside (piano), as they take you on an immersive journey into some of opera's best-known and best-loved highlights in this gorgeous lunchtime concert.
Packed with all those beautiful arias you will know - Nessun Dorma, O mio babbino caro and so much more. The high notes and the low, soprano, tenor, baritone and bass will all be on display and professionally executed.

Jennine Bailey, vocals with Tom Rainey, piano, Michael Story, bass and Rueben Derrick, saxophone.
Jennine and company will be performing some beautiful jazz standards and there will also be a tribute to the late great Dame Cleo Laine including some fabulous songs which she made famous.

Monday October 6 , 1.10-2pm we have our final lunchtime organ recital for 2025.
Jeremy Woodside will be performing beautiful works by Bach, Ravel, Andreisson and more.
Jeremy has performed throughout the UK, Australia, Singapore, Europe and New Zealand. He has held scholarships at Wells and Westminster Cathedrals in the UK and we look forward to hearing Jeremy perform on the Cashmere Hill at St Augustines.
