Congratulations to everyone celebrating a milestone at Scarborough tomorrow, only one more sleep to go.

Welcome everyone who is a first timer starting their journey at our beautiful parkrun by the sea.

If you are a parkrunner visiting from afar, welcome, welcome, welcome.

Remember to keep left, share the path and acknowledge each other with a friendly wave 👋 or high five 🖐️

It’s going to be a great 😊 year for Canterbury parkrun enthusiasts.
Kaiapoi River is going to start in December, we all have a fingers and toes crossed for that one.

Also on the books is Lincoln Wetlands parkrun which will either start late November or early December 2026.
Land owners permission has been granted.

The event will be helmed by Karl Smith and Daniel Fone.

We still require 2 more Run Directors and are looking for local residents who are keen park runners who want to be part of the core volunteer team to help support this event in getting established in the community.

If you are interested please tag yourself in this post and we will add you to the Messenger group chat.

Keep an eye out on the Scarborough and Foster parkrun pages for updates and course exploration dates.
