Thanks to everyone who came along and helped out at the working bee over the last couple of days!

We planted several natives along the back border in the area where part of the nature playspace will be, filled up the large garden beds with new plants, and refreshed some of the paint on the smaller garden beds.

Thanks to all the volunteers who chipped in and had fun bringing some life back into the space, as well as the volunteers who cooked us a delicious lunch for both days. Thanks to Matthew for the mushroom compost, Hayley from Ōtākaro urban farm for the topsoil, and to the ukulele band who braved the wind on Tuesday to play some tunes!

🌿 Last week to sign up for the Tiny Shops working bee next week! We will be planting and painting and will have some free kai for lunch.

FREE LUNCH! 🍲

Come and join the working bee at Tiny Shops!
Over two days we will paint and plant, all abilities catered for and all tools are supplied.

Stanmore Book shop is still open for books, magazines, information and support....just no postal services. 😠
Monday to Friday from 9am. So drop in for a browse and say hi to Janine and the team 🙂

We are looking for a donation of roughly 500L/half a scoop of topsoil delivered for our native planting working bee happening on the 9th June at Tiny Shops Village. If you can help or know anyone who can please share this around. We would be so grateful! 🙏
