Selwyn Organics Membership Information 28 February 2021 The Selwyn Organics Co-operative consists of two Facebook groups but is one co-op: General Group Members/Produce Email list - https://www.facebook.com/groups/SelwynOrganicsCooperative/ AND Bulk Foods page - https://www.facebook.com/groups/SelwynOrganicsCoopBulkFoods * $33 Membership Fee for the co-op - incl access to both Facebook
groups, all aspects of the co-op unless some areas are full, and one crate for your orders to be packed into. One off fee. * Annual fee of $30, payable in March to cover rent and power usage at packing shed. * There are members who are willing to pack for those who are unable to due to work or family commitments. This is a remunerated offer, and type and amount of payment is agreed on by the two members, it is not set by the co-op * Rostered tasks can be chosen from all of the co-op - produce (Daytime) and bulk (evenings). You just need to do the number required for the sections of the co-op you use. GENERAL FACEBOOK GROUP * Fortnightly/monthly orders of products chicken, meats, yoghurt, skin products, frozen berries, honey, plants, kombucha and more etc * Minimum of 1 packing session annually – Thursday afternoons 11.30-2.30pm * When space allows you can be a Fresh Produce Member - currently space available. * Posts on Facebook for orders PRODUCE EMAIL LIST - PLACES AVAILABLE * Weekly orders of certified organic fruit/vegetables available to Fresh produce Membership * Plus any orders from the General Group * Minimum of 2 packing sessions annually * Emails only are sent for these members plus posts on Facebook for General Membership items * Limit of 60 members for the Fresh Produce email group BULK FACEBOOK GROUP - PLACES AVAILABLE * Monthly orders of dry goods, flours, nuts, seeds, tinned goods from Ceres and Chantal organics * Minimum of 2 packing sessions annually – late afternoon and evening * Posts on Facebook for orders * Membership limited to 80.
