The Red Knights® International Firefighters Motorcycle Club, New Zealand, Chapter VII is based in Christchurch and Canterbury, New Zealand for past & present firefighters and their families who enjoy riding.

NZVII Christchurch went out on the ride of respect today . There was plenty of bikes out and all very well behaved.

Today, Christchurch Chapter VII got on there bike's and rode to kaikoura to visit the kaikoura brigade and start to organize the Red Knights Gathering for 2027 , which will be held at the kaikoura Brigade. There's obviously a lot to organize, so we thought let's get the ball rolling sooner than later. The gathering is held each year at a different location and a different island. North island one year, then the south island the next . If you have ever been interested in joining the Red Knights, now would be the time.
So many good people are part of this large group, and it is a worldwide motorcycle club that reaches around the world. So most countries you go to , I'm sure you will run into a Red knight somewhere.

We had a great gathering of all red knight chapters in Hawera over the weekend. Around 130 plus members turned up to celebrate being part of a bigger family. Saturday's ride went well, great with fantastic weather.
Loads of laughter was had and new memories created. Next year NZVII will be hosting the Gathering in Kaikoura in February.
It would be awesome to see some new members from all chapters attended the gathering next year.

Next week, all the Red Knight will be traveling to Hawera to the new Zealand Red Knights Gathering.
This is a yearly event that is held in a different location each year .
Next year, 2027, it will be held in kaikoura by chapter VII .
Red knights from all chapters attended the event and share stories, meet new members of other chapters, and generally have a great time.
We will keep you posted on next year's gathering and will share photos of this year's gathering shortly. If you are not yet a Red knight but want to , I encourage you to reach out and find a chapter .

Chapter VII had there end of year bbq today. It was a very hot day , thankfully we could take shelter in the new Gazebo once the sun moved in on us. Unfortunately not everyone could make it as some where away and other commitments like work etc 😕.

We had another successful weekend down in Twizel with our annual Foodbank donation. We had some great donations from Kiwi Harvest in invercargil, 4 Square in Cheviot, Woolworth in Christchurch, and many more. Red Knight Chapters from around the south island congregated in Twizel to support the locals who struggle with day to day costs , and donate what we can to ease the stress of finding something to either put on the plate or a basic need product. We are always happy to help out where we can.
We are always looking for more companies who can help with donations, i.e. , dated stock or near to dated items, cleaning and hygiene products, anything will be accepted.
