Diamond Harbour Toy Library FREE Membership this year! Open 1st and 3rd Saturdays 10-12noon at the Community Hall. Annual membership fee of $60 .

This includes all toy rental fees on the understanding that a 'duty' of 1 or 2 saturday sessions in 12 months be undertaken so we can open! You can also join for part of the year at a pro rata rate. Membership includes all toy rental fees on the understanding that a 'duty' of 4 Saturday sessions in 12 months be undertaken to help keep our fees low.

Once again, a shout out to the Lottery Grants Board for their generous donation funding the purchase of a raft of new toys for our toy library this year, including a tractor, Little Tikes equipment, smart games and more! Their continued support keeps our tamariki engaged and learning. Do come down to the toy library next opening to check out the new kit!

💗 A Huge Thank You to Eliza Waszczak! 💗

We’re excited to share that Eliza has generously donated a Fisher Price Little People Barbie Dreamhouse to the Diamond Harbour Toy Library!

Our current dollhouses have been very well-loved over the years and are starting to show their age, so this donation couldn’t have come at a better time. The Dreamhouse is one of those toys that many families might find out of reach these days, yet it’s always in high demand with our tamariki. Having a high-quality, durable version available for borrowing means more whānau can enjoy imaginative play without the cost barrier.

The Diamond Harbour Toy Library would like to thank the Lyttelton Port Company for their generous funding grant of $1426 for the purchase of sensory and neurodivergent friendly resources. Due to this generosity in 2026 the Diamond Harbor Toy Library will be able to lend vestibular spin seats, liquid sensory tiles, hideaway sacks, black out zone tents, bubbly ooze kits and a range of neruodivergent friendly timers to our Harbour community.

Please get in touch if you would like to join the Diamond Harbour Toy Library to access these resources. Membership is free with 2x duties a year.
