Steam Scene Christchurch (C.S.P.S.Inc) Canterbury Steam Preservation Society (Inc.) otherwise known as 'Steam Scene' Steam Scene operates with thanks to its volunteers.

We run an open day on the 1st Sunday of every month, or we can also be hired for your Birthday, work doo, or other social function. We hold an annual "Steam Extravaganza" in April, it runs for two days over a weekend and has everything from steam driven shearing shed to full scale saw mill, threshing and chaff cutting, stone crushing and plenty more all power by steam technology. It s fantastic opportunity for the whole family to see steam in all its glory.
