CanBead Christchurch was gifted $1002, which will allow us to continue running our free of charge art therapy workshops to our communities experiencing illness, trauma, loss and disability.

A BIG THANK YOU to the

Hurunui Creative Communities Scheme Creative New Zealand, for supporting CanBead with funding for two fCanBead art therapy workshops in the Hurunui region for 2027.

This funding helps us take our workshops into the rural communities and provide creative connection, support and a little bit of time out for people experiencing illness, trauma, personal loss and disability.

We’re so grateful to the Hurunui Creative Communities Scheme and Creative New Zealand for helping us keep CanBead workshops free and accessible to the people who need them.

We're lucky to meet extraordinary people through our work. Inviting them to our table is a privilege our staff and volunteers never take for granted. Honestly, we come away from every workshop having gained just as much as we've given.
