What a special day we shared as our tamariki and whānau came together to celebrate Eid. Our centre was filled with laughter, connection, and the delicious aromas of food generously shared by families.

Gathering for a shared lunch created a beautiful opportunity for children to experience the joy of giving, belonging, and celebrating cultural traditions alongside their friends. Moments like these strengthen our sense of community and remind us of the richness each whānau brings.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed food and joined us — your generosity and presence made the day truly memorable.

As some of our tamariki and their whānau prepare to celebrate Eid over the weekend, we would like to acknowledge this special and meaningful time.

Eid is a celebration of joy, gratitude, generosity, and connection with whānau and community. It marks the end of a sacred period of reflection and devotion.

We wish all those celebrating a wonderful time filled with love, laughter, shared food and time with whānau and friends.
