The Zonta Club of Christchurch South needs your help.

We have been running a project as a club for the last 20 years, making Breast Cushions for women following mastectomy.
Members of the club volunteer their time and skills to make these cushions and they are then donated to the three major hospitals in Christchurch. We donate up to 350 of these cushions every year and the feedback from women who receive them is overwhelmingly positive.

To keep this project running, we are currently looking for some volunteers to help sew the cushions together.
This is quite a straightforward task. The fabric will be provided already cut and pinned together.

2025 was a year of many highlights for the Zonta Club of Christchurch South. As a club we have worked hard to raise awareness of the Zonta message and fundraise for our chosen charities. Ka pai team!

The 34th Zonta Secondary School Sports Awards ceremony was held on Thursday 30th October. About 325 students, parents and supporters attended the awards dinner held at the Hornby Club.
22 Schools were represented. There were 101 finalists, resulting in 8 individual winners and 3 team winners.
The guest speaker was NZ Commonwealth Gold medalist and Olympic swimmer, Anna Simcic. She is currently Performance Life Coach for High Performance Sport NZ.

It's a wrap. Another fantastic District 16 Conference has been held. It was great to see old friends and to make new ones. Outside the weather was windy but inside it was fun and engaging. Thanks for the memories!
