After a massive day full of adventure, laughter, and a whole lot of fun… there’s only one way to finish it off 🍽️💛

Our favourite feast at Commodore Hotel.

It’s a true highlight of camp — a chance to come together, share stories from the day, and refuel after giving everything a go. And one thing is for sure… no one leaves hungry!

We are incredibly grateful to The Commodore Hotel, who have been supporting Camp Quality for nearly 40 years. Your ongoing generosity and care make such a difference to our camp experience, and it’s something our whānau looks forward to every single year.

Full hearts, full plates, and plenty of happy memories 💫

What do you get when you mix creativity, a bit of friendly competition, and a whole lot of LEGO?

An unforgettable afternoon with HHouse of Bricks💛

Our campers teamed up to build their very own LEGO township — full of imagination, teamwork, and some seriously impressive designs. From colourful buildings to creative little details, every piece told a story.

But the fun didn’t stop there…
We put our creations to the test with some epic LEGO racing! 🚗💨

There was plenty of laughter, a bit of healthy competition, and lots of cheering as everyone watched their builds take off.

A huge thank you Rachel and Jason for bringing the fun, the creativity, and helping create such a special experience for our Camp Quality whānau.

We braved taking the campers to check out Parakiore (Christchurch's new pool) — and wow… what a day! 💦💛

Hydroslides, splashing, non-stop fun — you couldn’t wipe the smiles off faces (campers and companions!). It’s safe to say the excitement levels were high from start to finish.

For the campers, it was all about the thrill, the laughter, and giving everything a go.

For the staff… well… let’s just say it was a masterclass in health & safety vigilance, quick reactions, and a few heart-racing moments along the way 😅

But honestly? Every second was worth it.

Because when you see the pure joy, the laughter, and the confidence shining through — that’s what it’s all about.

Huge fun, a little bit of chaos, and memories made that will last a lifetime 💫

There’s something pretty special about our arts and crafts sessions at camp 🎨💛

It’s not about being perfect or “getting it right” — it’s about being creative, giving things a go, and trying something new. Whether it’s painting, building, gluing, or a bit of glitter (okay… sometimes a LOT of glitter), it’s all about expressing ourselves and having fun along the way.

And sometimes… the canvas isn’t paper at all — it’s faces! There’s nothing quite like seeing everyone transformed into colourful characters, superheroes, or something completely unique.

We love seeing campers and companions step outside their comfort zones, discover hidden talents, and cheer each other on.

From incredible creations to unforgettable moments like Nerdy Smurf and his magical journey home (thanks Sam for being a good sport), every masterpiece tells a story ✨

The pride, the laughter, and the creativity — that’s what makes it all so special.
