One downstairs room has double doors which open into wide hallway, Three smaller rooms, carpeted (two upstairs and one downstairs). History archive room available, Monday-Friday, 9.00 am - 1 pm)
Large kitchen. Crockery and cutlery for 50 people. Capacity: 30-35 (large meeting rooms) 10-12 (smaller rooms)
Fee varies according to what is required
No resident caterer, alcohol allowed, disabled access to ground floor only.

Looking at the weather forecast and wondering about Spring Fair this Saturday? Well, we're all optimists here, so just assume that yes, it's going ahead! Such a brilliant family day out, from Richmond Community Garden to Avebury House. We look forward to seeing you! And have a small favour to ask... If you can bring a cup, or use one from our cup library - instead of the plastic-lined takeaway ones - we would really appreciate it! Oh my gosh - it's just over a week til Spring Fair on Saturday 17th! 😍 As always, there is a huge amount of cool stuff happening. On the Avebury side we have Christchurch Archaeology Project and our own Heritage Festival display upstairs; downstairs is the Devonshire; Vintage Market Avebury House on the lawn; and in our back garden you'll find the fabulous Canterbury Horticultural Society working on their beautiful, drought-resistant garden. We'll have food vendors in the carpark too - don't forget to bring a reusable cup for your coffee!
