We couldn't agree more. In the lead-up to Election 2026, we are advocating to all political parties to correctly apply the definitions in the Waste Minimisation Act. Metals are diverted materials and not waste. Our industry video series is promoting greater understanding of the industry and we have instituted a social media group of members working together on messaging and promotion. AMR members are strongly encouraged to attend Conference 2026 - Our People, Our Country, Our Circular Economy which includes our AGM to be part of the action. Delegate registrations are now open.
