2026/27 SEASON STARTS THIS WEEKEND!

We’re back! The first round of the 2026/27 cricket season gets underway this Saturday 10 October, with four sides taking the field.

Make sure to check out the line-ups and head along to any games to support!

Our teams for the season are:

⚫️ New Brighton Pegasus Div 4
🟡 New Brighton/East Shirley The Publican Prestons Masters
⚫️ New Brighton Battlers T20
🟡 New Brighton Hustlers T20

There are a couple of exciting changes around the club this season.

---------------

NEW BRIGHTON x EAST SHIRLEY
Our Masters side has joined forces with East Shirley Cricket Club for the 2026/27 season.

The partnership will help both clubs remain competitive while giving us the flexibility to support other teams across our respective clubs when required. Home-ground honours will be shared between New Brighton and East Shirley throughout the season.

We’re hugely excited about the partnership and proud to come together representing the East side of Christchurch.

---------------

WELCOME BACK, HUSTLERS!
After taking last season off, the New Brighton Hustlers T20 are back in action for the first time since 2024/25! The returning side will feature six new players making their debuts this Saturday, which is fantastic to see as we continue to bring new players into the club.

---------------

Good luck to everyone on Saturday. Here’s to a massive 2026/27 season! 🏏
