STARTS TONIGHT – WONDER

Presented by Hagley Theatre School in collaboration with the Isaac Theatre Royal and Sahara BreeZe Productions.

Wonder is a powerful and imaginative theatre experience that blurs the line between fantasy and reality. Through a world where everyday objects come to life, audiences follow Wonder's journey as she navigates change, healing, and the challenge of letting go of the worlds we've built to survive.

Blending object theatre, masks, magical realism, dark comedy, and heartfelt storytelling, Wonder is funny, moving, and thought-provoking.

Isaac Theatre Royal, June 23–25, Tickets available through Ticketek: https://isaactheatreroyal.co.nz/event-wonder-isaac-theatre-royal

IGLOO Spotlight: Taki's Journey

Taki has been part of the IGLOO whānau since day one. She found connection, friendship, and support through the IGLOO community. This year, Taki began studying Hospitality at Ara Institute of Canterbury, training in bar service, barista skills, and waitressing. Recently, she completed a busy restaurant service event where she helped serve over 274 coffees and more than 100 donuts.

"Igloo has helped a lot with my mental health and to meet a lot of new people who are now great friends. The bubbly staff have helped me connect in the IGLOO and find my people."

Watching Taki grow in confidence, build connections, and create a positive future for herself has been something special. We're incredibly proud of her and everything she continues to achieve.
Keep shining, Taki. Your journey is inspiring.

The IGLOO space is open weekdays in the Bus Exchange from 3pm.

What's happening at the Bus Interchange?

Tiny Fest is back from 19–21 June!

For three days, the Christchurch Bus Interchange will be transformed into a creative space filled with live performances, art, stories, music, and unique experiences from local Ōtautahi artists.

This year's theme is INTERxCHANGE, exploring movement, connection, change, and the people we meet along the way. Whether you're heading somewhere, waiting for a bus, or just passing through, Tiny Fest invites you to stop, connect, and experience something unexpected.

Free to attend, Whanau friendly, Koha entry.

If you're in the city between 19-21 June, keep an eye out for performances and activations popping up throughout the Interchange.
