Reminder… Pomeroys 25th birthday celebration is Saturday, from midday onwards. Photo at 4pm

Pomeroys is celebrating its 25th Birthday on Saturday the 10th of October from midday onwards.
Bears Christchurch, as long time supporters, have been invited by owners Steve and Victoria to join in the celebrations this coming Saturday.
There is a group photo of the staff and customers planned for 4pm out front of the building and the crew would really love for some of the bears to be there.
A great way to celebrate our part in Pomeroy’s 25 wonderful years… we hope that you can make it 🐻🐻🐻

Is there room for YOU in this picture?

Bears Christchurch are looking for community-minded people who may wish to join our committee and help out with running some events.

Paul and I have made do the last wee while on our own, but looking forward we do need some help from one or two extras to run with new ideas, as well as help with Big Bear Weekend in November.

It’s not a big sacrifice of time, but the karma and goodwill of getting behind and helping facilitate bears events is immeasurable. It would also look good on your CV!

Feel free to PM our page or reach out to Paul or myself if this sounds like you 🐻🐻🐻

Sorry for the late notice on this regarding Coffee Bears…

Regretfully, we have decided to hit pause on Coffee Bears for a while. Given so much else happening in the city, with a coffee break thrown in, e.g., Lambda Walkers, Wednesday Wheelies, support for Coffee Bears has fallen away and it seems time to rethink the concept. Perhaps we are evolving around gatherings within larger, community events such as a festival, an exhibition, a show, an outing, or something interesting that pops up on a weekend.

Interested to hear your thoughts and feedback, and support for new weekend events that Bears can facilitate.

Hope you are all well,

Paul and Andrew
