Support can come in many different forms at Cholmondeley.
We support tamariki and whānau for many different reasons, and sometimes that support extends to making sure a child has enough clothes, a good pair of shoes or a comfortable bed to sleep in while they’re with us.
A big thank you to two local businesses who have recently helped us with some of those practical needs.
The team at Runacres Insurance organised a staff collection of clothing, backpacks and other essentials for tamariki staying with us. Some items were donated from home, while others were purchased new, with the team taking the time to collect everything and bring it through to Cholmondeley.
Sometimes tamariki arrive without a bag or some of the things they need, so having these items on hand means we can make sure they have what they need while they’re here.
We’d also like to thank the team at MM Linen, who recently visited Cholmondeley and generously donated duvet sets for our tamariki.
We’re incredibly grateful to both businesses for thinking of Cholmondeley and helping us provide a welcoming, comfortable home away from home for tamariki when they need it most.
