Bryan Bruce, a renowned New Zealand investigatory documentary maker, has gone to Ukraine and made a documentary about what happened to Andrew when he was helping people in Ukraine as a humanitarian aid worker.
The video indicates that he was executed with his co-worker Christopher Parry, and raises questions about why his family was told that he was killed by artillery fire.
This will be followed up by a series of podcasts following up on this question.

We want to thank Bryan for his bravery and kindness. We will be forever in his debt for taking on this project.

We still hope to be more active in fundraising for people in the Ukraine, so keep watching this space

We are back into fundraising mode at the The Andrew Bagshaw Memorial Trust! To kick this off we have received a generous donation of 4 passes to the Hadlee Pavilion for the Black Caps v West Indies ODI on 16 November. We are seeking a donation (hopefully a generous one!) for these passes. Our work will continue to support people in Ukraine who are struggling. There will be another cricket match this summer to raise more funds so watch this space! Please message if you would like these tickets.

The Andrew Bagshaw Memorial Trust worked together with the Ukrainian Association of NZ to send a container full of wheel chairs and other medical consumables and equipment to Ukraine. Donations to the Trust paid for the shipping. The container has finally arrived and we thought you might like to see some photos of volunteers delivering the humanitarian aid from the container to regional hospitals and rehabilitation centres. Thank you again for your generous donations to such a worth while cause.

Thanks to your extremely generous donations at Cricket For A Cause, the Andrew Bagshaw Memorial Trust is proud to be able to support the initiative of the Ukrainian Association of NZ by paying for the shipping costs of $12,900 for a container filled with medical equipment to be sent to Ukraine. The supplies will be distributed in Ukraine through a collaborative effort between the Ukrainian Association of New Zealand (Southern Regions) and «Faith, Hope, Love» NGO, the Association’s trusted partner on the ground.
A team of trained personnel and volunteers, will coordinate the distribution process. Priority will be given to areas with the greatest need, including regions affected by conflict and displacement.
Local healthcare facilities, including hospitals, clinics, and mobile medical units, will receive the medical supplies based on their specific needs and capacity to effectively utilise the resources. The delivery to healthcare facilities will be done by local non-profit volunteer organisations.

Thank you for standing with us to support Ukraine!
