💞National Volunteer Week — With Deep Gratitude 💞

This week, we pause to honour the people who give their time, their heart, and their steady commitment to our Society.

You show up — in ways big and small, visible and unseen.
You carry responsibilities that many will never know about.
You give care, patience, skill, and kindness simply because you believe in what we do together.

Our community stands because of you.
Our history is protected because of you.
Our doors open, our members feel supported, and our Society thrives — because of you.

Every quiet task.
Every thoughtful action.
Every moment you choose to give.

😍You matter. Your contribution matters. And we are deeply grateful.🥰

We’re looking for two friendly members to take on our Sales Table at the monthly meetings. The role is simple and enjoyable. You choose a fresh mix of donated books for each meeting, chat with the people who stop by, and record the money taken so the Treasurer can bank it.

You don’t need any special skills — just a cheerful, helpful manner. Time commitment is once or twice a month during the meeting.

If you’d like to help, we’d love to hear from you. See your latest newsletter for contact details.
