Wow - what a whirlwind.
As we start to breathe again after a furious few days pulling together the event, hosting artists, sponsors and attendees at the Gala Night, and then welcoming the public into the exhibition on Saturday we wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone involved.
Firstly, thank you to our wonderful featured artist for 2026 Viv Wotton - Fine Artist. Being the featured artist at an exhibition is a big commitment and we really appreciate the hours and care that Viv spent creating such beautiful works to headline our event and share with everyone attending. Thanks again Viv, we've loved working with you and getting to see your work and dedication up close.
Next up our wonderful sponsors. Without their support, this event wouldn't happen. They are local legends and play a major role in supporting Mt Pleasant School and PTA fundraise to keep the Mt Pleasant School magic alive. So thank you again Ray White Ferrymead , New World Ferry Road , JSC Architectural & Building Solutions and Vino Fino we really appreciate your support.
An exhibition wouldn't be an exhibition without all the talented artists who share their creativity and works with us. Thank you so much to every artist who participated in the exhibition this year, we know hours of work have gone in behind the scenes getting your pieces ready to show. A special shout out to those who donated works to the live auction at our Gala Night - thank you again.
And to our wonderful community of volunteers and teachers - from pounding the pavements delivering flyers, turning sausages on the BBQ, preparing canapes for Gala Night, supporting artists set up, guiding our children to create their own masterpieces to display, and so much more - thank you again for all your efforts, we hope you got to put your feet up on Saturday night and relax.
Finally, to everyone who came to the exhibition and supported our school and artists through purchasing works, tickets, raffles and prints - thank you. We hope you enjoyed the exhibition and the efforts our artists (both big and small) put in to delight your eyes.
