Today our E Tū Tāngata team wore pink to stand together for Pink Shirt Day Aotearoa 💗

Bullying isn’t just about the way we treat others. It’s also about the way we treat ourselves. So often, we become our own harshest critic. We downplay our strengths, minimise our achievements, and speak to ourselves in ways we would never speak to someone else. That’s Tall Poppy Syndrome turned inward.

At E Tū Tāngata, one of our three strands is You Have Value.

Today we hosted our annual E Tū Tāngata Impact Lunch in Christchurch.

It was incredibly special to gather Principals, supporters, educators, business leaders and champions of the kaupapa in one room to reflect on the impact being made together across Aotearoa.

One of the highlights of the afternoon was sharing evidence from the longitudinal study supported by the John Templeton Foundation. The data is showing something deeply encouraging. E Tū Tāngata is having significant impact in schools.

We are seeing real cultural shift.

A huge thank you to every school, supporter, donor and person who continues to stand with us. This movement belongs to all of us.
