Wonderful start to the weekend with Brian Davies welcoming all of our guests to the Grand Opening of the Menzshed. Swiftly followed by Dugald Wilson cutting the (4x2) ribbon, and an extended tour of the facilities to all who were interested. Finally, a cup of coffee, savouries, and sticky buns for all.

Quite a few people arrived as guests, and left as members ! Great people, great weather and great conversation. What a lovely morning.

We will be open between 9 and 12 on Wednesdays and Saturdays, so please pop in and say hello and have a look around.

First Saturday open since the first posting about this group on the St Martins, Christchurch Neighbourhood Page. Glad to see a trickle of inquisitive visitors, most who didn't know that we existed ! Please tell your family and friends :) Regards, Mark

We now have carpets laid in the community rooms, and fire-proof gib lining in the main workshop. Getting much closer now to restarting the working bees when the numbers permitted to gather increase

This week we received confirmation from the Charity Services that the St Martins Community Menzshed is now a registered charity. This is great news that will help with our plans in the new year.
