Te Māhuri

Te Māhuri Te Māhuri is a kaupapa māori adventure therapy programme in Ōtautahi for rangatahi ages 13-24.

The programme is a partnership between Purapura Whetu and Adventure Specialties.

The last trip of the term. This week the group completed their haerenga, sea kayaking from Te Wharua Bay/ Charteris Bay to Ōtamahua/ Quail Island. What an amazing trip filled of laughter, jokes, trying new things, working together and getting wet!

On Wednesday we did a hikoi at Sign of the Bellbird, worked together to cook burgers for lunch and build shelters before calling it a day.
